So... this "word on the street" stuff is meaningless bullshit.

When a company is preparing to go public the sr. executives go on a "road show" to meet with potential investors. These meetings are not secret. And they file an S-1 document with the SEC, which is freely available to the world.

In other words, if/when they go public there will be lots of obvious signs. the Reuters reports just says that Telsa will soon be filing their S-1. Big fucking deal. My dog is "very close" to filing his S-1.

And something companies file their S-1, but delay their IPO because of lack of investor interest, poor market conditions, etc.

So the Telsa report from Reuters isn't news. It's speculation about something that might eventual turn into news.
So... is it for time Michael Dell to heed his own advice, which was "shut it down and give the money back to the shareholders".

Dell tries to innovate, but they don't do it well. As they do well is copy others. Good luck with that.
> the name means "ocean" in Korean

And it means... BAD in the other 99% of the world.

Hey... what's the OS on your new phone?

It's crapi... that's Swahili for butterfly.
"T-Mobile report" = "T-Mobile rep"
I live in Austin, TX and on my last two trips to the local Radio Shack (to recycle batteries) the ass clowns who work there told me these two sales lies:

(1) Android has more apps than the iPhone.

(2) iPhone apps will run on Android phones.

When I called them out on the later statement they told me "Um, well... that's what our T-Mobile report told us."

Bryan Bevin, if you are reading this please apply some quality control to the BS your store employees are spewing.
I like Alton Brown's shows, but his comments here are two-faced. First he says "I don't watch Top Chef." Then he provides his opinion about that show. How could he know anything about the show if he doesn't watch it. Or was that a lie?

Brown explains that Top Chef (which he does not watch) "tends to focus more on personal rivalries." Yet, when I go to the website for The Next Iron Chef one of the biggest links is "RIVAL CHEFS". Huh?

Alton, I love your shows but you should never work without a script... you make no sense at all.
SO WHAT?

Knowing Apple (and I've worked with them for years so I know them well) they probably treated her like shit, with mediocre pay and constantly changing mandates from His Holiness.

Re: the store... Apple found a good retail model and someone copied it. Just like Apple copied many of their idea for the Mac from Xerox.

This isn't news.

(For the record... I own four Macs. They are good products, but I don't worship the company or the management.)
I don't see why this thing can't be made of reasonable quality for about $100 (maybe $150).

It's just a lot of plastic and some metal, plus a Wii transmitter module. Unlike a real exercise bike, there is no led display. And I assume you can't in anyway adjust the resistance on the pedals.

Plastic isn't expensive and neither is Chinese labor.

I wonder if they were smart enough to design it for a "generously sized" person, rather than the one pictured on the box.

BTW... might get one for my dad. He loves his Wii but only uses it for bowling.
Last sentence of Nilay's original post reads:

"We'd spring for the extra piece of mind, honestly -- but if you're willing to live dangerously, the 335S is on sale now."
Yes, apparently you are.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
