reminds me of iPod headphones
The design of Phillips' TVs is definitely pretty unique in the industry. They always catch my attention - I'm just too scared to get one! I think the last Phillips product I used was my uncle's CD-i player haha
I'm a Mac user, but prefer Office '08 on a PC. The ribbon menu is not really implemented very well in the Mac version. In the Windows version, I enjoy being able to set 0.5" margins, landscape orientation, with two columns in about three seconds. To me, this is the best feature of the new Office and it was the biggest thing left out of the Mac version!
At first glance, I thought that the article's photo was a tasteless Muhammad Ali joke
Did Apple invent the store? No, but neither did it invent the computer, all-in-one PC, MP3 player, online music store, smartphone, or phone apps. But it DID invent the Macintosh, iMac, iPod, iTunes, iPhone and App Store. These products are all generally respected as the some of the best EXECUTIONS of these things, even if they are not first.

Apple Stores are absolutely the best stores of ANY hardware or software manufacturer. It's futuristic architecture, Genius Bars, tutorials, and simple layout (with a focus on a hands-on products rather than aisles of boxes) are unique aspects of Apple's retail locations.
It seems pretty expected these days to have an SDK with your OS. But in all fairness, the iPhone (and iPhone OS) was out for 9 months before developers got their SDK. The App Store didn't go live until a full year after the iPhone had debuted. Sure, getting the SDK out there would help push the Pre's momentum, but what's 3 or 4 months?
I'd like one, please.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
