It will never happen, Just look at how many Apple Stores we have in Canada?. the market is an insignificant little pimple on Apples ass: it does not show in the dark so why pop it?.

So keep driving across the boarder and apply your Yank drawl to buy a phone, then race home and unlock it....
At least TUAW posted an update saying it was an error. Seems like Engadget is fighting hard to become the National Inquirer of the Tech news world.

@ Baz, while I agree with your comments, I think we will not see the Iphone in Canada Period. Rogers will not get their finger out and release the virtual Monopoly it has on the GSM market. We need a company like Virgin to Nut up and give them a run for their $$. I started with a Rogers Plan that gave me 25mb for $65 a month, my first bill using an unlocked Iphone was astronomical, I then managed to negotiate a plan for 200MB for $85. I have todate not been over 130MB per month in HEAVY usage...
This is fucking weak....get a grip and post something that is not useless shite. You are slipping Engadget
That's what it is !!!!!,,,arrrgghh I need to hurry home and dig through the trash. I was sure my mouse had bit the big one.
The only thing that burns my ass is the fact that Time Machine can not back up to a network drive without having to go Albert Einstein on the reg edit. am I wrong?. Please let me know. also the background for Ichat is cheesy and faulty in quality. I would also like to see if one could share the task/to do list in email, we do a ton of project work and it would be nifty if it could.

On a positive side I have to say Bravo to Apple for only charging $200 to upgrade 5 stations...
The Iphone IS going to be sold at Holt Renfrew:

They will have a Gary Coleman version an O.J Simpson edition. It is going to be 60GB with a build in Espresso machine...oh and it gives virtual blow Job's

Kidding aside, I have been reading Engadget for years now, perhaps it is time to switch to a source that is not posting SHIT.

Nice going ENGADQUIRER
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
