What the hell is up with all these Korea vs Japan comments, Samsung stopped selling their shit in Japan, they didnt declare a bloody war. It was perfectly reasonable to pull out due to poor sales, and its a given that people tend to buy 'home brand products'. Take this for example, the 360 is the biggest selling console in the US, the ps3/wii is the biggest selling console in japan over the xbox by FAR.
"I don't think when someone says "Chinese cheap knockoffs" they speak for China as a whole."

I wasn't saying they did. I never spoke about china as a whole whilst talking about 'chinese cheap knockoffs' in my comment, and even if I did, i had no intentions of doing so at the time of writing, so i'll excuse myself now if anyone took my comment the wrong way.

"we shouldnt be judging the chinese by the 'knock-off' products profit-orientated companies are producing"

I even stated that we shouldnt be talking about china as a 'whole' just because of the knock off products profit-orientated **companies** are producing (the very opinion you're pressing against me).

cheers.

So i hope you didnt think i was referring to somebody in particular. thanks.

we shouldnt be judging the chinese by the 'knock-off' products profit-orientated companies are producing. theres the really good, high quality original products, and then the really low quality, knock off products in china, theres a large gap between high and low. it all depends on what price you're willing to pay and how much $ you've got in our wallet. who says you cant buy an original wii in china?.
that lady stands out compared to all the other women advertising asian products ive seen so far.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
