@ Flashpoint:

Actually the last time America made a declaration of war on any country was in WWII.
Wow, $85 a gallon is "very affordable"? That makes $4/gallon gasoline seem like the bargain of the century! This post seems less like a product trial and more like an infomercial, "Get yours now, for only 4 easy payments of $21.25"
To Joe:

As the current 3.7L is only making 273HP (Mazda CX-9), Ford would have to make some impressive changes to increase the power to over 300HP. As for the GT starting with 400HP as you claim, I highly doubt it. And... why would Ford abandon their long proven 4.6L entirely.

"The iPod is an important device, but I'm not sure it is the greatest invention of the 20th century."

Yeah, because it was invented in the 21st CENTURY! We are no longer in the 20th century and neither was the iPod. It came to be in 2001.

An entire book on iPod lovin seems a little boring, though I suppose some may find interest in it.

Dig up all the dirt (read: release date) on the Sky RedLine will ya guys? That car is damn sexy.
If they make it a manual it will probably do quite well indeed. You can never find manual rental cars to have fun with. I wonder what sort of restrictions might apply? Measuring tire tread before and after rental, lowered speed governor, lowered rev limitor, etc?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
