May 9th 2008 10:15PM The interior sucks . . but the exterior looks like an old porsche, I kinda like it personally . . especially the rear end, it was a great idea to leave it open. I was expecting a lot worse from what we've seen coming from other third parties designing cars to beat the Veyron. This car looks very professionally designed.

Exactly, the 0-60 is 4.2 sec. Which is wicked fast, don't get me wrong, but nothing compared to the veyron or the aero. Plus a TT Flat 6 putting out 987HP is a super high stress engine, contrary to a W16 with 4 turbos . . . i really think the Veyron reigns supreme when it comes to top speed . . you're not compromising handling, reliability, or safety, which I think should be a qualification for fastest production car.

Microsoft poses ultimatum if Yahoo doesn't come quietly {Engadget}
Apr 5th 2008 3:31PM ridiculousness? that's a perfectly legitimate move by microsoft, and anyone should have seen it coming. Yahoo isn't worth crap right now, and microsoft knows the shareholders agree . . . no one is gonna want to sell their company, even for a 62% premium, but shareholders would love to see some profits, so i'm pretty confident they'll get what they want.

NVIDIA's 9800 GX2-based Quad SLI solution gets mixed reviews {Engadget}
Mar 25th 2008 9:25PM To close this argument, it looks like everyone agrees that the drivers are the culprit:
- In the PCPerspective review: “Maybe that extra week that NVIDIA held back Quad SLI should have been extended to get more work done on the drivers because that is quite obviously the culprit.”
- TweakTown review said in its final thoughts “Officially, Quad SLI isn’t due out till the 25th, so there is still a high chance that NVIDIA have another driver up their sleeves.”
- From the guy on TigerTV “It’s going to perform 30% better on games that have SLi enabled. On games that are not compatible with SLi it won’t have a significant boost over the 8800GTX.” (again, only has to do with the drivers
- From the HotHardWare review “And in the near term, we expect NVIDIA to further improve Quad-SLI's performance scaling as well with upcoming driver releases.”
