This seems like a ridiculous road to keep going down for realistic audio, inevitably leading to hundreds of encapsulating speakers around you and your home theater. not to mention the fact that no movie will take advantage of every speaker.
I am a home theater geek and feel a tingling in the nether regions whenever i hear a post about pioneer improving its black levels. Too bad they're getting out of the plasbiz. panasonic ftw!
Does anyone realize the hypocrisy in every comment on this post? "WHHAT?! Elon Musk called a man a douchebag?! What an immature douchebag!" ~someone with little self-awareness.

=great example of irony.
Such a great design. I hope GM, Ford and Dodge die: Tesla and Fisker need to be the next big 2.
This is the best recession antidote . . i need this
I'll take five speakers please. That sub will do too.
from what I've heard 'round the internets Sony has excellent sound quality, better than any of its competitors (and considering the lack of quality delivered by the iFranchise, it would be like going from a tape deck to a good CD player). Not only that, it can handle 30fps with bit-rates up to 5,000kbps in WMV files, 2,500kbps in MPEG-4 and 768kbps in AVC . . . AND SUPPORTS FLAC. *deep breath* . . . FM tuner, 33 hour runtime, OLED touchscreen display at 432 x 240.

Yeach there's quite a bit of reasons to spend that extra cash.
*correction: "to the far RIGHT of conservatism." --'scuse me.
@ fieldcar:
fascism can't really go either way. to the far far left you have communist theory, where the government decides everything: rationing, prices, jobs . . everything is owned by the government BUT the government is the entire population so everything is controlled by everybody (this is only a theory and never works).

to the far left of conservatism you have fascism's bastard cousin: the monarchy. where everything: how people dress, the religion to believe, security . . you have one set of beliefs and everyone must believe the same way you do.

fascism is a very broad term (because it depends on the beliefs of the dictator) but you'd have to be an idiot to confuse it with communist theory, they're almost polar opposites. if you're a fascist who lets everyone believe what they want and let them do drugs and screw hookers . . you're a very liberal dictator. If you put your country into martial law and believes in a static ideology while diminishing freewill entirely . . you're a very conservative dictator.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
