You mean the one that uses electrolysis and requires more energy than it outputs? Stan Meyer is his name. Every respectable scientist is convinced he had something doing work that he wasn't showing us because the rate at which hydrogen was extracted from water was ridiculous and far exceeded any electrolysis process they have ever seen. He died of a cerebral aneurysm after eating a restaurant. Some say he was poisoned. Plausible and possible? Completely, but not fact.
"Netbook" is in every sentence in this post. That term was very scarcely ever used with sub-notebooks until recently - on Engadget.

What's up Engadget? Are you trying to be responsible for the sticking of a tech-term?
This looks nothing like the iPhone. Everytime a touchscreen phone comes up, I swear. Apple fanboys.
Those plans that Dubai Holdings have...while they're great, they don't negate the disgusting playground for the rich that Dubai is about to come (actually it's already a huge tourist attraction for the rich).

Medical center for the rich and poor you say? Perhaps poor as in the people who work in all of these hotels?

Wonderful that the elite will have their spectacular getaway.

Please, this is a statement about our vanity and our obsession with the material. While Dubai Holdings may be doing some good things, what Dubai is going to become is not.
Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. Comcast's customer support is terrible. I also live in the Philly area by the way. I've called Comcast about TiVo before, most recently being a couple of months ago and the guy I spoke to was trying to find out when it would roll out. After about 5 minutes of searching, he said "Wait a minute, I just realized, you're talking about TiVo. We have DVR, but we don't have TiVo. That is something else you would have to buy a TiVo box for." Then I explained to him that a couple of years ago the company that he works for made a deal with TiVo to offer it to customers.

Also in the past with Comcast, I had asked about a firmware update to those god-awful Motorola boxes. Problem was that the HDMI Out wouldn't transmit audio through another receiver (my HTIB). I bought a HTIB with an HDMI In for this reason. After reading about this online, I learned there was a firmware update for the box that fixed this. I wanted to know when this update would reach my box. The woman I spoke to did not know what firmware was nor could she locate ANYONE on her floor that knew what it was. Infact, she acted to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about and had perhaps mistaken or made up a term.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
