The guy's a friggin idiot low-life for trying to resell the item in the first place. He's probably one of the guys who went out there and bought up as many Wii's, iPhones, Elmo's, etc. he could find to try and make a fast buck. If he was smart he would have just kept his mouth shut and used the game for it's intended purpose and later sold it if he didn't enjoy it.
People should stop crying about DRM with the Reader, it's easy to get around this issue with a little research. The easiest way to get books you want onto the device without paying Sony's rediculously over-priced figures is to get the LIT version, remove the DRM (easily done with convert-LIT), throw it into BookDesigner, and voila! there's your DRM-free ebook ready for the Reader at a fraction of the cost!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
