In highschool somebody had taken the back off of their calculator (a cheap one, not scientific) and were able to see through the LCD, it was a pretty cool trick. I think what they are pushing here though is that it won't need a backlight, so you can watch two movies in the dark.
If it's free, it's for me!

It would be its Antarctic expedition. Arctic is the North Pole.

Even if it was in a theater, it has a range of 20ft with well tuned antennas. Which means you could sit in the middle row and the people towards the front and back would still be able to call.

Can't people just make battery packs for it? All you need is the proper voltage like it comes out of the Wii and the goofy connector. Then just wrap up the cord and ziptie it up. Insta-wireless and it's still Nintendo's design.
What no 7-in-1 media reader functionality?
Cool find, I hate when songs are labelled incorrectly. amaroK (Linux only I think) can find album cover, which is handy, but doesn't do the other stuff.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
