Just out of curiousity but whats the engadget version of musical electronic instruments?
Satellite radio IS going to die. Why, because i can get unlimited internet access on my phone which can play tens of thousands of shoutcast streams or any internet radio for that matter, at that while going going 40 to 60 mph on road.
why on earth would i pay $20+ a month for a couple of stations.

The death of satellite radio will come with the standard arrival of internet in the car, its as simple as that.

So.... what your saying is that Bush is really a democrat. Since
under his watch the deficit has grown to 11 trillion dollars, due to
massive spending.

Basic goods have increased and the standard of living has dropped.

Hey, jamie how do youspell republican...H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E

Hrmm i dunno, yes the nasa scientists are book smart but they dont seem to have common sense, Why couldnt they make a small mobile robot with solar arrays to "scout energy" and come bring it back to recharge phoenix. And no it wouldnt cost another 100 million. My highschool made a uber simple solar seeking robot for $100 bucks. So im sure nasa could do the something more complex for $5000 to $10,000 tops.

gps of phoenix location, mini robot seeks out sunlight, charge battery, go back to phoenix, recharge phoenix. tada!

And yes i know im going to get low ranked cuz we just arent allowed to say bad things against nasa.
Nasa should be privatised, there i said it.

Im sorry but, is this the best they have
Ive seen this stuff at disney 10 years ago, i thought they would have had a full human scale model by now, walking around
(notice all asimo's are short because they havent solved the balancing issues effectively as yet)
But if this is the best they have...then we dont have to worry about an i-robot or terminator because the technology is no were close
to happening.

when are we going to get AIMEE from redplanet(the movie)...the homicidal military robot with its all too easy to activate kill mode enabled.
Hey guys dont trash me for this, but from the pictures i noticed there isnt any vga out port
for people who want to plug it into a larger monitor. (my home setup is my laptop hooked up to a 22" lcd monitor)

Although ill admit this would probably be for people who just want to browse the net, view /listen to internet media while on the go.

aside from the obvious use as a computer screen, you guys think it might be possible to make a cloaking suit from this.
Maybe she had the "green" theme enabled =/
@phanboy
...bite...me
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
