Absolutely false.

Chuck Norris got his 1st Dan (black belt) in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan while stationed at Osan Air Force Base in Korea.
Engadget peeps, please, stop approaching every review of a media player as if it's an attempt to "kill" the iPod. There's room in the market for different devices as much as there is a market for different kinds of vehicles.

In the end the competition is great for all of us. If you like you're iPod, you should be hoping that every offering from MS (and everyone else) is a success.

Why?

Quite simply, Apple along with Archos, Creative, Cowon and all the other manufacturers will follow with more features that they wouldn't bother with if there wasn't pressure from a competitor. Not to mention lower prices.

Ryan, if you want to moderate this site and keep it civil, you can start by adding a "no fanboy flamebait" clause to your FAQ and delete those posts that offer nothing more than another in a long line of Apple/MS insults.
Ohhh *crosses fingers* I would rather hit megamillions, but this would be cool too.

Dude... I am pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about.

Lots of cabbies have GPS systems.

This is a great idea. For many reasons, least of all is that they will strike again. In fact I think they should make every Tuesday cab-free. It's so nice to be in the city when they strike. Best one was several years ago, I drove from the Lower East Side to Spanish Harlem (106th st) in 10 minutes. Have any idea what a pain that is on a regular day?

I have had so many cabs try to rip me off, and have ripped off friends visiting. I could care less what they want or don't want. Too bad, do something else for a living.
Yeah, your people just grew up out of the ground here in North America, not like the migrated or anything... Just like the rest of the human race.

He used the word immigrant. You put it into a racial context. Seriously, in a forum like this, why would anyone hide their racism?

Believe it or not, people of other races live in NYC and take cabs, and some of those drivers are white.

So who's the one being racist here?
I was just at Siggraph and saw some talks on the film. Cool stuff.

I would love one of these...
Of course it will do nothing to iPod's market share, it's not meant to.

It's for people who want or need something to play hi-res video on a portable. Beats the hell out of a laptop or a portable DVD player. Bet you'll be able to synch this with their set-top box too... Wirelessly.
Samsung is a Korean company - literally meaning "3 Stars", and I doubt any Korean would find it flattering to be confused for Japanese - in fact, quite the opposite.

Thank you in Korean isn't "arigato", it's "komapsumnidad".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
