Lol, I guess Chris Rock was right about being Rich and Wealthy.

"Shaq is rich, the man who signs Shaq's check is wealthy"
Currently a Centro/ipod Nano owner. Pixi is the close to replacing both of those for me.

Its light/slim form factor combine with iTunes sync can easily replace my Nano. The fact that it has A2DP stereo Bluetooth support integrated, means I can connect it with my Sony bluetooth headphones makes this close to a deal-MAKER. No more wires.

Coming from the Centro, not having wifi is not a big deal to me. What keeps me from purchasing this is SERO, currently paying $28/mo (incl Tax, Fees, Corp Discount, $30/mo plan). Can't see myself upgrading to a $70/mo plan.

I feel its not so much saturation, but the lack of innovation that's hurting ipod sales. I would love to upgrade my nano, but the last few releases haven't offered a killer app. Integrated bluetooth anyone?

The FM radio and mic were good adds, lower price and more memory is always welcome, and the camera is nice, but its not enough to sway me.

They need to focus on making the nano completely wireless. Wireless charging, wireless syncing, bluetooth stereo, etc...

I read somewhere, average consumers don't upgrade unless they get a device perceived to be 10x better than what they currently own. Arbitrary number, but you get the point.
@EM1 - LMAO! Win.

@DT - We're in the age of abundance. Its all about choice. If you don't want to post your personal info then don't, if you don't want to read someone else's info then don't.

But don't knock on the potential these applications hold.

I think Loopt is great if I'm meeting a friend at a party or making the 5-hour drive to my parents. No need to send text messages or make calls like "I'm 10 minutes away", "OMW" "Just passed 3rd Street". I just activate the app when needed and be done with it.
NINTENDO IS WHAT GENESISN'T.
Seems like this is coinciding nicely with the iTablet rumors. Watching movies on that screen would be perfect on using Virgin or Airtrans wifi.
@25 & 26 - Agree 100%. I hate ppl with such short-sidedness. Don't forget Velcro and the Dust-Buster were two other practical inventions created b/c of the space program.

#20 is a douche.
Kenneth - The future is downloadable games. X-Box has the option now to create download exclusive games that are too big for DVDs.

Limitations inspire creativeness.
Easy. Pre.

If you have to wait for this weeks paycheck to afford a phone, Sprint will save you hundreds of $$$ over AT&T--not to mention you get more value for your $$$ such as free GPS, unlimited text, nights starting at 7p, etc...

Sprint customer service is up to par with any mobile carrier. 90% - plus of the boards I read were happy how Sprint handled the opening weekend for the Pre.

The Pre will mature. It hasn't even been out a week and Palm already issued an upgrade, and new apps are appearing since last Saturday.

...until you realize AT&T hoses you for an extra $1000 for a similar 2-yr contract offered by Sprint.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
