If you shake the SIXAXIS, does the ball jump?
Okay, I can kinda understand using this to play World of Warcraft on Linux (though, it being a Blizzard app, it'd probably run under WINE without any trouble), but why Mac? There's been a native OS X version since the game launched.
"Unsupported" doesn't necessarily mean "doesn't work," though. It's more along the line of "We didn't test it. You're on your own."
I wouldn't be surprised if it worked out-of-the-box on a Mac; if not, there's little doubt it will be made to work in short order.
Moar disk plz!
Bah, I forgot to use HTML tags instead of bbCode. Sorry about that.
Actually, you [i]can[/i] polish a turd. Mythbusters got a high-gloss finish on not one, but two varieties of animal feces last week, and the only additive was tap water.
If it's a Silverlight-based player, does that mean it'll work in Firefox on Windows, too? Seems to me it should be supported on any platform that has a Silverlight plugin, which means no more relying on IE to watch things.
Oh, the irony...
Amazon.com says that the new guitars ship tomorrow (16 Sept), and my local Best Buy and GameStop both told me "sometime this week."
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
