I hope that Fox Saab in Grand Rapids gets the axe. They're the worst Saab dealership in the entire state.

Damon, I'm not sure where you live, but here in Michigan winter drifting is a way of life. If you have a car that handles amazingly, why not throw some snow tires on it and take it for a spin?

There is a reason why many people from the midwest naturally know how to handle a car that hangs out its tail, because we grew up driving like that in snow.

If the writers of Autoblog as a whole (you used the term "we") believe that driving a sports car in the winter is a dumb idea, you should choose new professions because you're not true automobile enthusiasts.

I like it a lot. As others have comments, I hope it is significantly down on weight compared to the outgoing 350z. Shave 300 or 400lbs. off and we've got a winner.

1). This was a 2006 iF Design Award Winner. It's been around almost 2 years.

I would buy a Saab 9-1x Aero... Assuming it was built with the right hardware under the hood (direct injected, turbocharged 4 cylinder) and the proper drivetrain (all wheel drive, hence the x). I'm confident that Saab could make this car look good. Although I've got the 2007 9-3 Aero, I'll admit that the 2008 refresh turned out nice.

I was initially drawn to the brand by my 2005 9-2x Aero, which is surprising considering the fact that it's a Subaru in Saab clothing. I've still got that car and the all wheel drive is marvelous, but it lacks refinement. The 2007 9-3 Aero has all of the refinement I need, but is missing the all wheel drive.
