I bough a used 13" unibody MacBook (not a Pro) and despite having had nothing but PCs in the past I am loving it. The keyboard was weird to get used to at first but after a couple of days I was hooked. Now typing on a regular keyboard feels weird for me.

I love the auto-adjusting LED backlit screen as well as the backlit keyboard since I can not always touch type. The multitouch trackpad is so convenient that I rarely use my bluetooth mouse any more.

The only downside of the MacBook would be lack of ports since I often use multiple USB devices at the same time, but for college classes it is more than enough.

Regarding others mentioning getting a netbook, i have an Acer Aspire One 8.9" and the keyboard is too small for me to use comfortably for taking notes in classes. I make far too many mistakes even if I'm trying not to. I would say I have average sized hands for a 21-year-old male so keep that in mind if you consider a netbook. Of course trying anything out in a store is a good idea.
would go great with a future psp go of mine!
oh man its beautiful

"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
