So... how about the potential ads...

"Make Up! yours."

"Stick this Up! where the sun don't shine... in your garage."
Well, OK... I'll bite in the interest of fair understanding.

Exactly what is "unsettling about owning something called Party in Spanish..."?

Guessing wildly and insincerely... Have you had some bad party experiences? Is the Spanish government after you?

You've got my curiosity going now.
But why hasn't anyone tried the Fred Flinstone method?
"The $385,000 car in the video sticks to the sidewalks so there aren't any shenanigans"

...except a very expensive sports car driving on a sidewalk...

Yes, you and three of your friends can drive down the sidewalk screaming "You can run, but you can't escape my front bumper... hahahahahaha!"

Aw, heck, it would be more fun than raking leaves, at least.
I think we're looking for a slightly different flavor of cake... or maybe that's just me. We've seen how the diesel is so efficient, so a higher-performing diesel version would be attractive compared to a high-performing gas version. I think it would make a more significant statement to have a diesel engine that can 'match' (loosely interpreted, since the performance characteristics are very different with gas vs. diesel) the GTI's performance, but whip the GTI on fuel economy.

That does seem to be some of the chatter coming from VW... we have diesel and we can make it outperform a gas engine on less fuel.
Wow... I didn't realize how much I don't like how the Dakota looks.

That Rampage, though... it looks 'right'. Package that with a modern efficient/powerful powertrain and even I would consider it. 20MPG with regular gas, please.

Nice application of Stow'n'Go, kinda neat to see the folding armrests (though I wonder how necessary that is), and the slide hidden on the exterior. The front clip looks cohesive, unlike the Dakota's excessive folds and mismatching lines (headlight to grille). It looks like a sleek tonka truck.

I also like that bed ramp... so nice.

I've had a history of not liking Chrysler products (which is pretty much all my parents have owned since I was young), but they're finally starting to put together some handsome trucks. Well, the brand-new light duty Ram looks nice (first Dodge truck I've said that about... and I guess it's the last since the brand name is changing), and I obviously like the Rampage.
If I were a chick with tattoos, I still wouldn't be interested.

On second thought, perhaps that's too much of a personal sea change to wrap my head around.
That does depend a bit on who's baking the cake.

Somewhat unrelated: Don't ask me to bake a cake.
Hey, what's some grammar and spelling mistakes amongst friends?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
