"In other App Store news, the developer of the officially-licensed C64 emulator also says that it was contacted by a senior director at Apple, who reportedly said that there was 'BIG news coming'..."

He can resubmit it, as long as he does an Apple II emulator.
Who wants a stylus?

Sorry, I had to.
GOOD GOD! IT'S EATING HIM!
Well, now they're just fucking with us.
Isn't it about time for Microsoft to throw out the very much antiquated WinNT kernel, or at least radically strip it down? For years, they've been trying to retrofit it to make it work, to make it look cool, to make it more efficient--I think they'd be better off re-writing it with today's ideas in mind, rather than trying to build upon one from years ago. Win7 may be great and all, but, let's face it--we're judging by Windows standards, aren't we? It's the OS we all know should be wearing a helmet! It's such a great thing that Microsoft actually is able to make Windows usable? Like I said--I think it's about time for Microsoft to trash nearly all of the kernel, and re-write a clean, lean, efficient, yet powerful kernel that does what we now want Windows to do.

That's my rant. I've been waiting a long time to get that out.

Are you listening, Redmond? Windows 8 should use a new kernel! If you're not going to listen to the Engadget commenter crazies, then who are you going to listen to?
I meant to say "Jerry and Bill." You knew what I meant.

But Jerry and Steve... That would be cool... Jerry always had a Mac
in his apartment on the show, so maybe... I can dream, can't I?

Why thank you, Columbo.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
