This drive is pretty sweet! For anyone who has burned a dual layer disc at the speed of 1x, these drives sound pretty attractive indeed. I would have assumed dual layer discs would be cheaper at this point considering hd-dvd and blue ray burners are already on the market.

That is certainly a nicely equipped, portable laptop. Hdmi with the x1250 gpu is a nice touch to any laptop not specifically designed for the hardcore gamer. The only part on the laptop's list that is controversial in my opinion is the hybrid hard drive, I'm always down for the newest technology, but hybrid drives have shown little to no gain in performance. I would rather have the hard drive portion of the laptop investment going towards the largest drive possible, rather than on a more expensive hybrid drive. Thats my 2 cents.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
