wow. when did this become a political site? I just came here to say i think it looks pretty sweet. sure it's not HD, but it's a whole lot better than anything that compact and usable that i've seen.
add CDMA and bluetooth, and i'm fat dumb and happy..

re: great freebies! Thanks engadget, i feel more economically stimulated already!
so.. it sounds like a good idea and has a catchy name but in reality acts like every other marginal PC out there with no one making sure it's available to do what little it can in America?
sounds like they nailed this one..
monk and magellan.

oh, and I used to be a soundguy by trade, so i do love me some good speakers!
i gotta agree with mr. ed.. and i liked the vehiCross.. Sure, it's a little cartoony but what are concepts for?

oh, and best. interior. ever. "hotting up!" ??
Mine:
'69 F-100 = Ol' Blue (it was actually a bluish green, with patches of bare metal..)
'64 VW single cab pickup = The Project (took 2 yrs to restore)
'00 Explorer = Exploder (bought it missing a front corner..)

my dad's:
'72 VW Bug = Stealth (black on black, shaved bumpers, with 160 ponies kicking the back wheels at SCCA)
'99 VW Bug = spaceship
'06 Titan = Red Rocket
'96 accord = snow white

Yes, I have a problem. but at least I can claim it's hereditary.. ;)
My thoughts exactly! I need a set of these for when i'm using my computational engine.
oh, heck yes! shower curtains, table cloths.. sign me up for the ASCII of the month club!
one day, your globe will be a big-ass... globe that lights up? Interesting idea, but i can't come up for any useful applications other than advertising and some sort of google-earth-on-crack type of thing.
does that mean we're now looking at blue planet of death??
SRS has been doing this with WOW (no, not WoW) for at least a decade.. it has to do with phased output, so you have to use over-the-ears to give it enough airspace. but the processor i had back in the early 90's was pretty cool.
For the early 90s, anyway. As an audio nut it's nice to see they're trying.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
