Analysis: Microsoft offers "I'm a PC" retort that falls flat {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Sep 19th 2008 3:58PM Hey, did it occur to anyone at MS that if you do not have 'walls' you do not need 'windows?'
Yup, I have a computer life without walls all right - that is I do not need Windows...
Skullcandy and Metallica team up on Death Magnetic headphones {Engadget}
Sep 19th 2008 3:33PM Metallica hasn't made decent music since '...and Justice For All.'
They suck and are corny - I am embarrassed to have been a fan at one time.
Microsoft's new ads: Seinfeld and Gates out, Hodgman lookalike in {Engadget}
Sep 18th 2008 9:44AM So basically these commercials will be Microsoft using what was originally an Apple idea to sell their products?
How very Microsoft!
John McCain, inventor of the BlackBerry {Engadget}
Sep 16th 2008 3:04PM thank you fuzzy! That is one of the most sickening right-wing smear points there is. If we had a republican in Al Gore's position at that time, we would be discussing this via CB radio right now, and the internet would not be a consumer-level technology.

Sep 16th 2008 3:02PM "He'd would probably use computers/technologies himself if he didn't have painful arthritis in his hands stemming from injuries sustained while he was a prisoner of war."
A friend of mine works for a company that sets up disabled (truly disabled, not arthritis) to use computers. They have a lot of technologies including one that tracks your eye movements and moves the cursor accordingly. You are going to tell me this guy can't use a computer due to arthritis? No, he can't use a computer because he is old, and like a great number of old people, technophobic.

Quark releases QuarkXPress 8 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Aug 4th 2008 10:26AM "if you don't you it - you are a TOOL."
Is that like the Zune tagline "You make it you?"
I too used Quark for a long time & switched to InDesign about 2 years ago. Will never go back. Quark sucked, always has, always will.
InDesign FTW
(for tool's work)

Jul 30th 2008 10:21AM Wow, the iPod will be in serious trouble now! If I were Steve Jobs, I would just sell the company & give the money back to the shareholders.

Jul 29th 2008 11:13AM I'd like to see this same experiment done using Leopard as 'Mojave'
Zune Guy calls Microsoft 'liars,' says Zune situation is 'f***ing bulls**t' {Engadget}
Jul 28th 2008 10:36AM @ quickboy "Because Apple still has a history of numerous iPod issues, and tosses a new one (or makes you buy another one) every time they break down? My Zune still works great since '06, and I don't feel the need to replace it anytime soon."
I have had my iPod since 2003. It has been dropped numerous times while mountian biking, skiing, walking. Left in my car in sub-zero temperatures for an entire week, also left in the same car while temps hit the 90's for days on end. I use it daily. Not battery issues, no issues what so ever actually.
I don't feel the need to replace mine anytime soon either. I wish it would break so I could have a color screen, or the ability to play video, or more than 15gb. But it doesn't - so along it chugs reliably,
