its woo woo vapourware - thought that when i saw the demo - as todd said, its basically 'just a few words on paper' at the moment. there are immense technical difficulties in doing something like this and its either going to be scaled down drastically or take several years to get right. another royal f*** up from the company that pretends its innovates but just doesnt have it in its culture.
blacknumbus, your conspiracy theories and cheap theories as to why the eurpoean commisson did this do you no credit. try reading up on why this was brought agianst microsoft in the first case, and why a similar judgement was reached to the one that the amercican courts passed on microsoft. so your idea that they are targetting american companies is total BS. i am not going to be drawn in to a pointless argument about the european economies, but the UK economy is doing very well thanks and the american one is the one that seems to be tanking at the moment.

and by the way, i am involved in speaking in politics, so i understand socialism and its implementation very well thank you very much.
eric, you are a moron that knows nothing about business, this is to promote competition and benefit the consumer, not unfairly stifle competition as microsoft has been trying to do. this is the main reason this case has been brought to court, succesfully won and they have lost the appeal. so before you post such stupid comments, take a wider view and also understand this has been through a number of reviews all of which found against microsoft
we're saying as students that we would rather our colleges pay for osX and get a decent system, than vista and face all of the complexity of loading drivers, security worries, viruses etc
a few of the comments on the endgadget pages about zune, do sound like they are put up by microsoft employees. they have been known for doing this kind of thing in the past. on both the web and writing to magazines.
not saying people cant do want they want with their money,

you are missing my point, this so obviously about slapping a brand on it to give it some kind of kudos, rather than about the product, its just embarrassing.
woooo look at her and her hissy camp fashion tantrum,,,

its a fashion device? how exactly - it looks like a touchscreen phone to me, what is the difference between this and a normal phone a hotline to the editor of vogue magazine? personal advice about your shoes that day.

i am allowed comment as i wish as it was put up on endgadget with the comments left open.

just be aware that anybody with any judgement about what really is 'cool' is going to think a person who gets this or the prada phone out of their pocket is is a tosser becuase they think they can buy what 'cool' is.
are people's lives really that sad that they think if their phone has some kind of fashion brand attached to it that people are going to think they are cool. get a life
cant believe they have taken the number pad off, lots of these keyboards are going to be useless to anybody who inputs figures.
so you still cant adjust the display up or down (my current mac monitor is permantly sitting on top of a thick book becuase of this restriction)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
