Who cares about console size? Shouldn't this race be about the consoles capabilities, and their gameplay. Having a smaller console (in the case of Wii) only compromises power and graphical capabilities. I don't understand how they get by calling the Wii a next gen console, without even having HD, isn't that the whole point of next gen consoles.
Why so much more expensive than their last 24 inch? I think it was only about $760.
At this rate, I think HD-DVD is doomed. Sony and its endless bly-ray allies have the power to overwhelm the market with blu-ray devices, Toshiba should surrender now before things get too ugly.
If my calculations are correct, 8 GB is enough to hold well over a million pages of text. Sounds like Samsung is continuing to be one innovative monster. But I agree that they did probably do this to promote their phone, very smart.
There is nothing good about this 21 inch monitor at all. Anyone wanting a big monitor should obviously get a 23-24in 1920x1200 like this 24in dell, which is less than half the price ($759.20).

I wonder if they will be able to use this technology in Hard Drives.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
