The objectification of any individual is wrong, regardless of sex. The idea that "hey, now women have something to ogle on screen" commits a grave hypocrisy. "What men are doing to women is wrong. Lets solve that problem by doing the same thing."

Women, arguably, had the high ground in the discussion on objectification in the media. Welcome to the bottom, you can leave the holier than though talk at the summit.
I'm surprised at all the praise for 2 and the hate for 3. I think 3 is far better than 2, listening to Bill Paxton bitch the whole time and oh god the annoyance that was Newt.

I mean 3 has its problems, especially towards the end, and it lacks some of the suspense of 1, but the "guns blazing" 2 just isn't as good.
Ukrainian, not Russian. And there are many Ukrainians who would be incredibly offended that you failed to make that distinction, seeing as the reason they had to turn the flame off in the first place is the unfair natural gas prices Russia imposes on them for refusing to be a part of the Russian sphere of influence.

Ukrainian World War II veterans may have fought to remove the yoke of the Nazi's, but modern Ukrainians are fighting off the yoke of another oppressor, that of Russian imperialism.
You're SURE they aren't? That's of little consolation to me. 3D usually means unnecessary scenes (and usually poorly composed ones). How does "things coming at you" move the storyline along at all?

3D as of yet hasn't been used in a way that improves a films quality as far as conveying information or emotion. And I doubt that it ever will; it is not like adding sound or color. And if someone feels differently I'd be really glad if they'd share. I can't think of a thing substantial that 3d brings to the table, other than the "entertainment" factor.
@Kevin

I honestly burst into laughter. Well done, sir. And I agree wholeheartedly.

Why is doctor Manhattan's wang the attention grabber? The unnecessary slo-mo sex scene in Archie, set to Leonard Cohen no less, was far and away more disturbing. And the ejaculatory flame blast to cap it off.
@ James

God forbid artist's get pissed when their work gets censored.
Writing this on a Eee pc btw. Hardly junky and only $399.
Netbooks will be "junkie" until apple macs one of course.

For god sakes Apple, stop being the douche kid at the table.
@dingo

Guess what? Apple makes PCs. Macs ARE PCs.
It has been there since day one. Apple is just now giving you the pleasure to pay to unlock it.

Oh yea, total bullshit.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
