Bullet DVR video recorder: for Speedy, not Rex Racer {Engadget}
Nov 9th 2007 11:29AM The PDR100 is nice but does not have a color screen to adjust the camera.
I currently use the PVR500R (track days with my car). 720x576 @ 25 fps MPEG4 4000kbps recording. It's not too expensive (350 €).
Very nice but it is a hard drive video recorder which does not like vibrations. It works OK in a track day (mildly tuned everyday car) car but it does not work at all in a race car.

Bullet DVR video recorder: for Speedy, not Rex Racer {Engadget}
Nov 9th 2007 10:09AM It lacks a color screen to adjust the bullet cam and it is limited to 6Mbps bandwidth when recording. MPEG2 only recording ?
This recorder is better : http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/me1-digital-bullet-camera-recorder.htm
720x576 @ 25 fps 8000kb/s MP4 recording and a little color screen to check what you are recording.
PS3 firmware 2.00 hits tomorrow {Engadget}
Nov 7th 2007 11:53AM > I agree. When I turn on my PS3 to update to 2.0, this will be the first time in the last 60 days I have turned it on.
You probably don't have a PS3 to make such a comment...
I have a PS3 and i'm using it every day, several hours per day and I'm not watching only firmware updates, thanks :-)
Sony's 40GB PS3 arrives in retail store stockrooms {Engadget}
Oct 27th 2007 3:58PM I have mine since the begining of the Week :-) (available since 2 weeks in France)
There is not sticker about PS2 compatibility but there is a sentence about it in the description of the package at the back of the box.
I use it on a SD TV. Too bad they only include a composite video cable. You have to purchase an aditional SVideo or RGB cable to obtain a perfect picture quality on SD TV.
I've bought it almost only for GT-HD and the demo of GT5 Prologue :-)
I've taken Motorstorm and Sega Rallye.
Motorstorm is excellent but both GT demos are better :-)
