i almost always bring at least one of my portable gaming systems with me whenever i travel by plane...

i remember once when i was a kid, i had my game boy pocket with me, and i played on it during my entire trip from Hong Kong to Vancouver (13 hours flight)... what game it was, i forgot (i think it was pokemon yellow, but i'm not sure)...

thanks god for those removable batteries, eh?...
no kidding... and here i am thinking that the higgs boson from the LHC already did its work...
my family usually celebrate with a couple of my friend's families when we were kids... i remember we (the kids) would all sit in front of the PSX and play MLB (forgot which one)... i would always get beaten badly, but those were some of my best memories gaming when i was a kid...

yeah, i'm not that old...
When the future is upon us, I'll just keep on hoarding physical media like I'm doing now...
"...that means Canada is out, even though older Zune models are already on sale there."

barely... i work at a future shop and our display case has been out of stock for at least a month... we also sold our demo units too, so i know my store is completely dry... and there's no indication of any units being shipped from the distribution center...

why can't MS do the right thing and get it out there in as many markets as possible?...
a bit more information for you guys...

the 14" is selling for CAD$799.99 at future shop... if my store is any indication, the stores in the western part of canada should have them in stock sometimes this week... no words on the 13.3" and the 15.6" versions, but i would assume they won't be far behind...

btw, it's 4GB DDR3 RAM... here is a bigger shot of the side of the box...

i know i would...

sorry, but squeenix just doesn't have a good track record of having proper (not just good) english VAs dubbing the english vocal track... the voice almost never fit the character and there is almost no emotion involved in the voices...

not really striving for perfection here, just striving for playability... bad voice acting can ruin a game or anime like bad acting can ruin a TV series...
@Adam Williamson

fellow vancouverite here... while i can agree that our transit system is probably one of the better systems in north america, i still have to point out that it's still not good enough to get people out of their cars and into the buses and trains... most of the time it's because of that our buses runs behind schedule... i once had to wait 77 minutes at granville and 41st for the #10 during afternoon rush hour heading into downtown direction...

if you went to the open houses translink had about the integration of buses with the new canada line, you'll notice they're taking a step backwards... they're axing the #98 b-line and re-routing most suburban routes to start at bridgeport station instead of keeping them going into downtown... canada line will become so overcrowded, it'll make expo line at rush hour looks like nothing...

although i've gotta give it to them for finally planning to implement smart cards... most of the better systems around the world use those...

if you really want to see a good system, look to hong kong and their bus/MTR system or even japan and their bus/rail system...

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
