Exemode's budget-friendly DV572 SD camcorder {Engadget}

Does anyone who owns the DV 575 know how to view its images on tv without the icons that appear on the screen? I'd like to make (record) video copies of my movies, but can't get rid of the icons. Also,does anyone know if an English manual is available?
