The problem I hope to come across in the near future is the price difference between 2.4ghz MacBook and the entry MacBookPro. I mean at $400 dollars more, would I want to go Pro or not?
I'd love to win something in my life...
I thought the joystick was the dumbest thing ever before my company got me my ThinPad. Now I can't work without it. But I think you basically need to use it to appreciate it, otherwise it just stands out for no reason.
I'll take anything, anything at all I tell you...
Wow, I saw this on a polish news site this morning but didn't know it would make it all the way here. One guy in line told a reported he's willing to sell his spot in line for ~$2,500 dollars so these guys are really playing their parts pretty well.

I agree that Apple is great at marketing, mainly sticking their computers into every Hollywood flick out there, but I doubt that Apple actually had their hand in this. Orange just wanted to duplicate the hype and got called on it. The article goes to say that there are more than enough iPhones available for everyone with no phone shortage in any of the stores. I love my people.
I'm starting to notice a reoccurring theme of man-crush on Phelps here... not that there's anything wrong with that.
The suit is definitely responsible for all the record breaking. But if all swimmers are wearing it, then they're all equally capable of winning the gold, right?

Stop complaining, put on the suit, and win the gold. It's that easy... ;)
This looks interesting from a TV cabinet PC point of view. How does this handle 1080p and a possible Blue-Ray upgrade?

The configurations look pretty lame in my opinion. You can't just choose a BlueRay drive, it has to be a BlueRay writer for extra $500 bucks. No LED display... it's all very limiting for what could have been a nice notebook.
MacBook Pro at half the price? Looks interesting.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
