I thought everyone here was an iphone basher?
This device is flamed till no end yet everyone wants one...
He never cared. As much as people like to think otherwise, Jobs is the business man whereas Woz was always about development. He is all about having fun and this is before Apple was founded. Read iWoz, its a pretty good book and an eye opener of sorts...
Mel may understand radio but he doesn't understand business. Instead of nickel and diming current subscribers, he needs to increase the subscriber base. Solution: LOWER pricing:

Drop Sirius Everything from 12.95 to 6.99 and eliminate the additional receiver discount to make it even across the board. Start a la carte pricing between 3.99 and 4.99 and drop Sirius Everything to 12.95 (or less). Why? There are millions of dormant receivers that can receive Sirius but do not work with the la carte plans. This forces them into the 12.95 price point unless they want to buy a new receiver.

Its all about VOLUME when it comes to media. Something Mel can't grasp...
1. Agree. It would be more convenient, especially during quick web browsing.
2. Disagree. The home buttons could be slightly higher but the keypad is fine.
3. Indifferent

5. Definite agreement. The included headphones suck and the adapter is 2 feet long. Add some decent headphones and the cable is huge.
6. Like you said, its an unfair gripe. Android has the ability to run apps parallel, iPhone unloads each (with exceptions) so there are trade-offs.There's an app for Android called Power Manager that runs in the background to turn off preset functions depending on idle time and battery power. Extremely useful but something the iPhone probably couldn't do.
+7. Battery life is HORRIBLE.
@EdgeOne

In many cases the former company will continue paying the employee's salary until the blackout period is over. Some call it "garden leave"...
People who've heard of SERO do. Can't beat unlimited data for under $40 a month...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
