Editorial: Taking the iPhone 3GS off the job market {Engadget}

Jul 10th 2009 3:57PM @Paul a. Chapel:

I still don't agree on the first part where you talked about new people coming to the smartphone world; based on my experience most of my friends who use NOKIAs for example, are much more happy to use a physical keyboard than a touch device, it's human nature: the closer a technology to what they have the better are the chances they will like it.

Now, it is once in a blue moon that I would find your comment to be rational and thoughtful, although I didn't completely agree with you many are the times that I would agree with you on some points on your older points but you never send the right message, instead you make a fool out of yourself and turn a calm debate into a girl fight at a mall!

Don't ruin the moment man, hold yourself back, just for this one time.

I have to agree with you on the last part; capacitive with multi touch makes typing even faster.

I wish you were rational like this every time you speak.

Jul 10th 2009 3:27PM In all honesty, I can't help but see that the future is going to be all virtual, it is just amazing how with two clicks you can have hundreds of new keys ready for you any time you want. Physical is good but like every other technology it will slowly shift to virtual style, ask anyone who got used to a virtual keyboard.

Let's not forget that these virtual machines are also getting smarter day by day, your keyboard will learn your way of typing and fix words or bad hand placement better and better.

All of this is just the beginning of a new era in technology and a lot of people will fight it at first, and the creators will fix it and adjust it until all needs are met.

Jul 8th 2009 5:12PM "Ultimately it comes down to taste. It comes down to trying to expose yourself to the best things that humans have done and then try to bring those things in to what you’re doing. I mean Picasso had a saying he said good artists copy great artists steal. And we have always been shameless about stealing great ideas..."

Evidence mounts for iPods with cameras {Engadget}

Jul 6th 2009 8:48AM Paul, when did I ever say that Zune is going to take over iPod, you lunatic chimp?! I did say in many occasions that Zune and Zune software are better than iPod and iTune, at least for me and my choice, and that Zune Pass is a better option for people who love music, but to say that Zune is taking over iPod! Not anytime soon, but, will I leave my Zune Pass for an iPod? Never.

What moron!

Jul 5th 2009 2:46PM Ariel and Jon, as until this moment I have never seen a company introduce or demo a device that recognizes objects, faces, voices and movements all in one tool for a gaming device, except for Natal.

Microsoft isn't playing catchup nor is stealing an idea, they are improving and taking many ideas and putting them in one single place within your home entertainment system.

If you disagree then buy your awesome eye-toy and/or keep writing your "Microsoft is evil" essays forever.
