This is awesome.....Oppo once again shows who they really are.
Where did Tasmania go? Yeah I spose they don't matter...
Great idea. In 2008 I grew to love EngadgetHD and make it my Engadget "home"! Thanks guys!

Love the podcast, Darren's endless posts, and the helpful and often entertaining comments from fellow readers! Let's keep it up!
Nice. I like MediaTek chipsets.
Gosh. Stop complaining. Just make $99 players, I'm sure it's not that hard by now...
@El perron: did he say he didn't like blu-ray?
Its painful for us Aussies to even be presented with news like this given the slow nature of our broadband development. So yeah, it's good news, but it'll be ages before I can get a decent service like this or even ADSL2+ in my area (which is the same for most areas of oz).
HDTV would be a great idea.
Good luck in trying to outdo Beijing. You're gonna need it London.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
