for real, who pays for windows????

i'd take out the 105 dlls for windows and it would be waaaaaaaay cheaper!!!!!
last time i checked, this generation of consoles are closer to what a pc.

I mean, in the past, when talking about nintendo and sega genesis, we never cared about their cpu's, ram or either they had a gpu, right?

This time around we do!!! Guess what, thats what PC's are based on, so, we can confirm that since the begining, consoles are also pc's
once again, you are comparing apples with potatoes pal.

OnLive its not about playing games online with other people. OnLive its about playing games on full hd, with all setting maxed out without needing to have the ultimate gamming rig. Yes, you can play online with other people, but you can also play single players games with this.

PSN its all about playing with other people. Besides, ever heard sony talking about charging for psn in the near future???
as if.

If there's something that will never dissapear are exclusive games on consoles. And now with the upcomming motion controls, i dont think there will be many motion enabled games being ported to pc.

I can see many multiplatform games also being released on pc, but many games pretty sure will stick on a consoles, or play better on a consoles than in a pc (hardly the case, but there are, see for example Resident Evil 4).

The micro-console will hit harder the pc gamming scene than the consoles one.
well, yeah, i mean, as i stated, i also have my home to take care off (utilities, travels, food, car maintanance), i like to date a lot, and dating cost a lot of money, also there's my platform gaming needs (ps3, ps2, wii, psp owner here. even though i do have pirated games, i always bought the games i came to like)

I cant focus all my money on one thing as i'd like to, xDDDDD
I just recently upgraded my pc. I'm able to play COD:MW2 in my 42" plasma tv in a 720p resolution all maxed out and hardly my fps drops from 60, i can consider myself to have the deccent gaming system i always wanted, and took me 2 years to be able to afford it (had a lot of other things to take care off besides my pc gamer needs) and i'm currently thinking comming this may to upgrade from core 2 duo to corei7 and from 4gb ddr2 to 8gb ddr3, montly upscale it to reach 32gb ddr3 but i'd like to have a look at this before i do this, cuz if its reliable this system, I might save a couple of bucks by not upgrading and sticking to onlive
You do realize what does this service do, dont you???

With this service, even if you have a pc with pentium 3, if you have a good broadband you can play the games like if you had a $2500 worth alienware, and with only a fee i'm pretty sure wont be higher than $30 a month, $50 would be also ok.

Steam cant offer you this kind of service, onlive does. gotta wonder why you went to compare this 2 services
Imeginez - babes

new from ubisoft, only for nintendo DSi. It recognizes when the players gets a boner, then you give the chick a dollar
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
