From the screenshot it looks to be a NON-library based player. Browsing for your files in directories is soooo outdated and CHEAP.
Don't even try to compare it to an ipod.
No no no... the new law is like this:
it only bans devices that are CONNECTED ONLINE to a server that pushes out locations MOBILE speed checks.
POI databases are still allowed.

In fact there is a company offering a simple GPS receiver with the DB built in, no display, it just beeps when you are near a fixed station.
...and from the side it looks like a BMW 3 series.
....from another angle looks like a Chrysler Sebring
GPS ?!?
There was nothing about built in GPS!
where did you get that from?
These were filmed in Switzerland.
I drive past that station every day and fill up there occasionally. Too bad I missed the gig. Great ads.
for those interested: N 47.306 / E 7.929
You can get this phone from Europe for about $350 without signing any contract. Just pop in you SIM and off you go.
Don't waste your $250.
I don't think this will feat wi-fi.
look at the icons on the screenshot; unless wi-fi was powered off we should see an indicator there. too bad :(
Owned a Trailblazer until last year. Sold it because of gas prices (switched to a smaller car). (...which was a mistake but that's another story)
Looking back now, it was pretty good on gas, asked other SUV drivers and theirs were worse (including Jeeps, X5's, Kias, Durangos, ML's, etc...)
That 4.2 inline-6 was silky smooth, quiet, and cheap(er) to run.
no one mentioned the green logo under the black macbook. The one that looks like sony-ericsson.
What's that?!
New desktop line positioned just under Mac Pro.
Something like an iMac without display but equally powerful and expandable (3.5" drives, PCI slot)

Cinema display with built-in webcam

new Frontrow

Macbook price drop, speed bump
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
