Nothing ever happened to Palm OS, that's the problem.
I think someone's confused.
@Chad
Maybe Matrox does have one for laptops, but again, it "isn't for gaming 3d acceleration".

But thanks for playing.
Oh you'll still be resetting -- it's still running Windows Mobile, remember?
Um... How is this a mini laptop if it runs Windows Mobile? That would just make this a PDA.
LOL @ taser tag
That sounds amazing
@mingistech
Sounds exactly like Palm OS when you describe it that way. Hmm. I thought Palm OS couldn't multitask either?
"Of course, if you're incredibly desperate to kick some tires online while treating yourself to a supersize medium order of fries and a vanilla cone, you can fetch the Nintendo DS web browser add-on or WiFi USB Connector from the second-hand market and carry on."
Wait, what? If they quit offering the free WiFi to the DS users, how will getting the web browser add-on or the USB connector help you any?
I'm sure you're right, but Engadget doesn't appear to understand that if they're saying it doesn't need an RF cable since it's PoE. It could still be PoE and require an RF cable for an external antenna.
"a SATA shaped, sized, and interfaced"
Interfaced makes sense, but SATA shaped and sized? WTF?

"Both utilize IDE"
Um, yeah, okay.

Anyway, this is a really great product. Might pick one up for my lappy if the price is right.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
