That all sounds good in theory, but the chances of this laptop working at MIMO speeds with the Draft N routers you mention are almost nil at this point.

Airgo has come out against Draft N products (since the competition at Broadcom, Atheros, and Marvell are stealing all the thunder) and won't have chips doing anything like 802.11n for months. Since the vendors doing Draft N can't get their products to work together -- even if they use the same chips at this point -- don't expect it from 3rd Gen Airgo.

ASUS is also selling a router with the 3rd Gen Airgo chip -- this laptop is really meant to be used with that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
