The end of the world will happen when the LHC decides to break again in the middle of a critical experiment...
you spend 20 years building it and forget to upgrade the power lines feeding this thing.
In Brazil there is a 50% import tax for electronic goods.
That is why the price is ridiculously high!
The amount of tax they levy on stuff there is crazy.
the PS3 will cost $3k or more when it launches there (if this ever happens)...
Just hit a landmine for instant mushroom cloud!
A 3-year contract! Whatever happened to the old 12-month or 18-month ones.
I hate these ridiculously long contracts.
That's why I stick to SIM only contracts that all you have to do is give a month's notice that you want to cancel the contract. And I get the phone second hand or on ebay (works out cheaper in the long run).
Where's my credit card!
For Two hours at 70,000 ft and 6 minutes of Zero Gravity is worth staying in debt for eternity...
LG is capable of producing some really nice looking phones with loads of cool features...ON PAPER ONLY!
When you get the real deal the OS is slow, buggy and crashes all the time, the touchscreen is not that responsive, the pictures taken on 8MP look worse than the ones I used to take on my 2MP camera and the battery life is weak.

And I'm saying that because I OWN an LG Viewty and a Renoir!

Offloading them as soon as my contract upgrade is available.
Will this be available in europe without having to import from the US?
Shouldn't they just rename it VODAFONE?
after all, Vodafone is a major shareholder of Verizon and a much stronger brand name and it is the world's largest cell phone carrier.

I'm sticking with iTunes 7.7 for a while.
Have you forgotten all the problems that happened to iTunes when version 7.0 was released??
I don't need a "genius" to patronise what i listen to!
New Nano looks ok though.
I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo comes up with an updated version of the DS (DS2?)with built-in storage and a GB and GBC games download service similar to the Wii's Virtual Console service charging a dollar for each game.....

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
