BallFinder SCOUT tracks down golf balls with scanning camera {Engadget}
May 15th 2006 2:12PM Man, $260 for a device like that is pretty steep. Another option for the golfer on a budget -- or who just cannot justify the 260 bucks -- is Cats Eyes...

It comprises of special golf balls that become fluorescent when you put on these special Cats Eye glass (although the glasses look damn terrible).

There is a small club attached to a box on the floor by two cables. The club is really short, so you pretty much use it anywhere in the house.
I don't remember what it was called, but it didn't feel all that natural (due to the super short club).

Hook/Slice Talking Swing Meter {Engadget}
May 2nd 2006 7:37PM LOL! On the flip side you would have thought that the company behind the Talking Swing Meter would also be selling a "mental golfing" program on DVD or something.
You know, after the TSM has crushed whatever confidence you have, they could sell you the "this will fix you" solution ;-)

Soldius golf bags solar-charge cellphones, iPods {Engadget}
May 2nd 2006 6:13PM That's crazy shit. Golf is hard enough to get right without the distractions of mobile phones and iPods.
Was at the London Golf Show on Saturday and there was some cool stuff... but I didn't see one of these Soldius golf bags on show. Maybe it hasn't hit Europe yet. Good! ;-)
