Jun 17th 2008 7:47AM This is actually the second release of MST3K The Movie on DVD. The first release was a 4:3 letterboxed beast, back in 1998 (according to Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_Science_Theater_3000:_The_Movie )

Killer B's on DVD: MST3K - Santa Claus Conquers the Martians {Cinematical}

Dec 27th 2007 12:49PM Oh, and I should say, The Film Crew do more than B Movies. Like Lord of the Rings, The Star Wars Trilogy (1,2,3) etc etc.

Dec 27th 2007 12:47PM You seem to have forgotten Cinematic Titanic, with even more of the crew of MST3K (including Joel) who have just released their first movie. Details at http://cinematictitanic.com/

Those Brits Are at IT Again: Check Out This Funny Anti-Piracy Ad {Cinematical}

Sep 13th 2007 3:11AM It isn't just "created by the folks behind The IT Crowd", it's the opening of series 2 episode 3, where our heroes are attempting to settle down to watch a Tarrantino produced South Korean Zombie film.

Sony pooh-pooh's the 80GB PS3 {PS3 Fanboy}

Mar 30th 2007 4:19PM What I suspect this is from Sony is much simpler. Remember that they buy hard disks as a bulk commodity, and I suspect there's a point where sourcing 80GB drives would work out as cheaper than 60GB drives, or that there would be a point where supplies of 60GB drives would be more constrained than 80GB drives. So at a guess, they are ensuring no interruption of supply by making sure they could easily ship an alternate drive in the PS3 and not get caught out by the hard drive chain.

BluRing links your iPod to your handset {Engadget}

Mar 8th 2007 7:26AM At a guess it's just like the mTech ClipM, which was plugged into the 3.5mm jack. I used to have one. The downside, it's another gadget to charge up. The Gear4 Blueye has the advantage of not needing to be charged, you just plug it into the dock connector and you are ready to go. I rate the Gear4 far more highly (It's what I use now).

Hands-on with SanDisk's 32GB SSD {Engadget}

Jan 8th 2007 9:04AM " So we're talking 32GB SSDs for what, $250 by Q2 of 2007? Golly. "

2008 surely.

Zephyr's HDMI port and new HANA scaler: up close and personal {Engadget}

Jan 6th 2007 3:35PM A little reminder for the folks rewriting PS2 history.

The original PS2 arrived with the space for the hard disk and mounting for a network adapter on the back from day one. It took quite a while for the adapter to arrive, but arrive it did. Sony did not release a PS2 with ethernet built in until the slim line PS2 arrived which was over four years into the life cycle of the PS2. Motherboard revisions of the original PS2 were centered around thwarting modders and/or reducing build cost for Sony. They didn't add features.

Michel Gondry is a Talented Guy {Cinematical}

Dec 15th 2006 5:09PM Look, it's Gondry. What does he do normally? Frak with your head.

Now, watch the chap *shuffle* past in the background... almost like he was going backwards forwards.

Now, here's a finished rubiks cube. Any idea now how to make a video like Gondry's? :)

Nice work though.
