I think $199 is the subsidized price.
"Erica, don't get too concerned about the people here who have their own identity wrapped up a little too tightly with their Apple product"

Have you read any of Erica's posts before? ;)
I love Formula 1, but I think the KERS move with green motives is a bit... eh. That's because the cars on the track aren't the biggest contributors to F1's non-green-ness. What about all of the transports, trucks, freight flights, passenger flights, generators, etc. that the teams use during a weekend, not to mention testing. Also, there are still hundreds of thousands of people who drive to the events each weekend. Making those elements of the sport greener would have a better overall effect (and less controversial) than introducing non-traditional elements to an already cluttered formula.
Prime: It's not the same thing, the difference is later vs. never. I expect that everyone will be approved in coming months.

It's part of the deal with AT&T!
You've been able to do that for a while, Brandon!
You'd have been subjected to "early adopter screwage" if they had done this in August. Now? Not so much.
Comment! :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
