Meh, I have no real opinion of the iPhone's looks anyway, they're just like any other LG mobile anyway (viewty, prada, etc)

Plus this thing isn't THAT ugly, as far as silicone cases go, I've seen worse
WTF?

Just because they made an iPhone that does everything people expect from a mobile phone?

This is the first time I've heard of "Piracy" raids at a tech expo...methinks the Hannover police either really wanted some alone time with the M8 or they're Apple's hired muscle.

More likely the latter!
boo freaking hoo, I don't get why this story's getting so much coverage, if this kid didn't put so much blind faith in M$ then he should have taken the case off himself and replaced it with the shell of a RRoD'ed console gathering dust somewhere, lord knows there's enough of them about :)
Jeez, I've had vista business from university (MSDNA?), used this process to go to Ultimate and eventually seen the error of my ways and downgraded to XP since this first came out.

I think the only difference is that you can choose a brand, and unless you're super loyal who'll actually care?
Isn't this already happening?

The Metal Gear Mobile game uses cell phone cameras for camoflage patterns..in america and Japan
ho ho holy crap,
that thing looks like it would take over my house and leave me homeless. considering the price tag it probobly would leave me homeless.

I'll wait for the case to turn up on ebay as "spares/broken" :)
Forgot to say, if you're mega rich and can finance it, the PC is always going to win over the PS3 and 360...just it's too darn expensive keeping up
I know this kind of comment draw serious fanboy fire but think about it, the ps3 has wireless, hdmi, high def player and harddrive OUT OF THE BOX, the 360 in it's basic form needs more addons than my Firefox browser in order to raise it's game to the PS3's level, (and even then it backed the wrong horse with HDDVD)

That said I think there's alot of improvements that could be made to all of them, the Wii is going to lose market share soon if it doesn't widen from the simplistic/kids games it currently has and get some serious titles/ports for other gamers.

The 360 needs to have all the stuff fanboys crow about being the same as the PS3 (HDD, HDMI, BDD) as standard and move away from the aging DVD for games. Also needs to be more carefully made, this RRoD shenanigans is ridiculous. But fair play for the 3 year warranty after thought.

The PS3 has too much potential that isn't being let loose, get some sort of itunes rentals like content for the psstore as old PS games and demos do not a succussful online store make.
Hmm, or are they just not on shelves to fix the multiple faults that bring that good ol' Red Ring of Death?
does anyone not notice the "green" box contains a gold Zune?

Smells fishy
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
