REPORT: Volkswagen Touareg successor headed for Detroit {Autoblog}

Nov 12th 2009 3:33PM If it has 1/2 of the problems of the first generation Touareg it will still be a terrible car.

Joyswag: Call of Booty: Prestige Edition {Joystiq}

Nov 12th 2009 2:22PM 2am. clown. In the woods. waiting.

Dante's Inferno demo burning up Xbox 360 and PS3 next month {Joystiq}

Nov 10th 2009 12:35PM Hoping this fills my God of War needs since I sold my PS3.

Lookin' Swede: Volvo reveals Geneva-bound 2010 S60 sedan {Autoblog}

Nov 10th 2009 11:19AM I like it, but I love Volvos. However, it doesn't look as good as my favorite car in the segment, the C300. The problem for me is that this segment has gotten so expensive. The 3 and C both start around 30k, but are well into the 40s before you are done. If this car can be priced more competitively then I might be interested.

Rendered Speculation: Camaro, Le Mans-style {Autoblog}

Nov 10th 2009 11:14AM Cool rendering, but I don't this car will ever see the light of day. They may put a version in GT3/4, but it will always stay a step below the Corvette.

Games on Demand has a high-price Monopoly {Joystiq Xbox}

Nov 10th 2009 11:12AM How well are the Games on Demand selling. Everytime I think of picking one up I scoff at the price. Most of the games can be picked up used for very little.

I think that there should be two price levels. Games over 2 years old, $20. Newer Games, $40.

SEMA 2009: Ford Taurus puts on a good SHO {Autoblog}

Nov 6th 2009 12:22PM Agreed, they should trim the entire back end. The front is so aggressive and well styled, and then the back screams "your grandparents like this car."

Gran Turismo 5 cost roughly $60 million to develop {Joystiq}

Nov 5th 2009 5:35PM I hope the game is great because I have been playing the GT series since the beginning, but I worry that the market has changed so much since GT4 that the investment isn't warranted.

GT4 came out over 5 years ago when there was little or no console competition, and the nearest comparison would have been an arcade racer like Burnout.

Fast forward 5 years and you have had ALL THREE FORZA games released not to mention a slew of Sim/Arcade hybrids like NFS: Shift, GRID, and eventually blur.

There is no doubt this will be a huge game, but can it sell enough to live up to that budget? Or more importantly, can it sell enough to justify continuing the GT series?

BMW M3 GTS unveiled! {Autoblog}

Nov 4th 2009 2:33PM How much of this could have been done aftermarket with a standard issue M3? The M3 is only in the 60k range, did they really add 110k worth of value?

That engine better be a monster.
