Well, at least it comes w/ a copy of the new Moonalice CD, produced by T Bone Burnett. Seems like it'd be a conflict of interest, but maybe it's just a well-thought-out plug to include the person who owns the majority of the Palm company's CD on the release of its biggest phone yet. Looks like Bono & U2 thought otherwise...probably a contract w/ Apple.
@pistolpete

+1 First thing that jumped out at me, too. I like the design & packaging, but the 'wit' was lost the moment Engrish stepped into the room.
Simply untrue. Paul Tanner, inventor of the Tannerin aka electro-theremin aka slide theremin, played them on the Beach Boys albums. The tracks were: "Good Vibrations", "Wild Honey", and "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times".
FWIW, Brian Wilson didn't record that part on Good Vibrations, and it wasn't a theremin...it was a Tannerin...a slide theremin akin to the one Radiohead use.
I just wrote an editorial on his band who are coming to my town this month...Wish this would have come out sooner, would be fun to add this tidbit in there.
Looks like a new model in the Pentax K Series to me...I don't see the hotshoe, but it could have been erased.
...and his wife 'happened' to come home just after...hmmm. I smell what you're stepping in
No one wants HD for the guitar...The guitar isn't a hifi instrument.

Leave this work to the amps...You don't need a dumble (after all, carlos created the early tones w/ Boogies). Give yourself some overwound, hot pickups, play with a live amp, crank the mids, and you'll have yourself the 'internal combustion guitar'.
Canon's site says :
Movies: MOV [H.264 + Linear PCM (stereo)]
'funnest'...really?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
