I'll be (and have been) missing the podcast. It truely is the best podcast I have ever heard, without it my days will certainly be more dull. It played a very important role in my life, to the point where I consider pete and ryan to be close friends, as I dont have anyone else in my life that is as interested in gadgets and technology as I am. I hope you can get back on track when you feel comfortable with it.

thanks for the memories and hopefully many more.
never heard anything of this... and i live in london. i will mention though that i carry a knife with me at all times since i got mugged a few years back
To be honest, the "today in engadget" section doesnt bother me. However the lack of a podcast over the last (nearly) 10 weeks is a large bummer to me. Whats going on with that?
well i can understand not having a podcast for the next week or two, pete just got married. good luck with that dude, hope you and jill have an awesome life together.
whats the deal guys? you're breaking my heart here, could you at least give us a reason why you havent made any recent podcasts?
awesome phone, it could certain replace my M3100 (or for you you americans the 8525) hopefully it will be in london by the time i get my upgrade, which is about a year from now
seeing as i cant win cos i'm the uk i'm just going to give a stupid reason...

i'm looking forward to my shiny new device so i can smash it to bits with my htc hermes
pete you've earned so much respect from me that you're more welcome in my house than gates or jobs... seriously come on over some time(ryan can come too).

keep up the good work
My orange m3100 (hermes100) already has a front facing camera, its kinda pointless though as video calling hasnt really taken off in europe.

back when I worked for sony I used to sell these (NW-A1000/NW-A3000) and i'm glad that a new one is coming out, not because I want to see a new device as much i want to see the current one's die in a pool of lava. they're awful and so was the software... i have an older NW-HD3 and i wouldn't change it for anything, its just a plain and simple mp3 player, no colour screen no video or photo viewer (plus i was able to remove the european sound limiter)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
