Fixing the Economy is as simple as legalizing prostitution and weed. Both are strongly produced domestic products that have a high rate of return.
I would most likely fix the current economic crisis by finding a way to bill people for worthless posting. An idiot tax if you will.
The noise is caused by the drive so yes it will still be noisy. You can always just cache the game now though.
Hardly. Nintendo has always stayed a thriving profitable company despite the Playstations success. The substandard performance of their home consoles in the market and pressure from Sony is what drove them to search for something beyond raw performance in this console generation. I would say it worked out well for them.
Quality went down because they had to increase manufacturing. It is pretty much what happens to all these companies at one time or another and while it sucks balls it is no surprise at all.

As far as leopard though, I would look at if you did an upgrade or a clean install, because if you are running 1-2 gigs of ram leopard should run better than tiger. All of our macs, g5 onward at least, run far better with leopard. We used to have massive issues with finder crashing when accessing huge file directories over the network, and now we can access them with cover flow and have zero problems.
1. Upgradable storage. I know it is a bit tight in there, but a few MM of space is a fair tradeoff to be able to add a larger flash storage option. I just want to be able to get a 16gb drive for it. I know external storage is an option, but it is a lot slower and more cumbersome.

2. For the screen to fill the bezel. The speakers don't take up that space, it is mostly air. I know it was to cut costs for a device that is testing the market, but I hope it does well enough that they go for the bigger screen.

3. E-sata. It would be great for docking back at home with a larger drive.

4. TVout and DVI/HDMI. This is a bitching little portable video setup so svideo would be cool, and while VGA is fine DVI/HDMI options would rock.

1 and 2 are the only things keeping me from buying the EE right now, and just having one or the other be options would probably push the purchase for me. With both I would have already ordered it. 3 and 4 would be awesome but I would never expect them on this kind of device..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
