Engadget, you've made a mistake, you've already covered the Samsung P2 - oh...wait...
Hmm. The images of the PCB are pretty low resolution, but my eyes are telling me that the flash based Zunes use a Wolfson 83506 audio processor.
According to information on the Zune.net webpage, the ONLY new codec support that has been added to the device is WMA Lossless.
Well, has anybody had any luck with wireless sync?
Well, regardless of the "off the bat" issues we are facing, quite frankly I think anything at this point is better than the old Zune software..
Yeah, we are all getting version 2.2. Microsoft must have done some last minute tweaks...
One more thing I noticed about this update for Zune 30...scrolling through say...10 songs in quick succession will no longer result in delay, its now near instantaneous.
*Edit

Sorry, delayed comment.

Has anyone had any luck with the wireless syncing on the Gen 1? I keep getting an error.
Hey guys, the site is down for SCHEDULED maintenance. Lets all just be patient, it should be back up soon...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
