You totally missed the point of this device.
Count me as another satisfied Dell user. I do IT for small biz and have been hooked on Dells since the first Pentium 90 Mhz machine I got about 10 years ago.

I don't piece build white boxes. Been there, done that. HP is too complex to figure out what you want to order for a small biz account. IBM the same. I go online, build my order, get it a few days later. It works.

Are they perfect? Nope. Would I switch? Probably not.
ATTN: People who post about Big Brother

Why is it every time someone posts how they would like to use a device like this to track their kids we have people making negative comments. I assume these people may not have kids or cannot see someone elses opinion as valid to why they would use one of these.

As one example... Being a person taking care of a 6 year old who has a mother with "issues" I would use one of these for peace of mind when she is with her mother. Sure I'd prefer she has supervised visits but that is a decision of the court.

So scream Big Brother, helicopter parents, etc...

Beyond TV doesn't support QAM, other than the HD Homerun, so don't bet on it. Check the SnapStream forums from last week regarding the "future" of Beyond TV. Doesn't look good.

After playing GH2/3 on a friends X360 I ended up buying GH3 for my Wii. Using the sound from the TV only I haven't noticed anything lacking while playing the game. It is a lot of fun. Though the star power "reverb" sounds weird.

Having heard about the delay in shipping the add-on guitar I just bought two copies of GH3. Not sure how much extra it cost me but having two guitars is fun and I didn't want to wait 3 months or more.

The sound issue I can live with.
The addon guitar issue I solved by buying two copies.

What I REALLY would like for the Wii is more songs or GH2. Sadly I'm not aware if those will happen.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
