Why do they need to hire more developers.... it says they bought Torch (and I assume brought in the employees)... I'm not sure I understand why they need more people?
The Motorola Droid has a 3.5mm jack, and I believe you can drag & drop into it. There might even be a 3rd party app to sync iTunes and Android - I haven't looked.
Isn't it a bit late to be crying about this? The technology has been in use for the better part of a decade, by many cell carriers and manufacturers.

"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
