Agreed. The game looks wonderful, but I couldn't help but cringe at some of those animations. I'm sure that will get smoothed out before release though (I hope).

This should be able to hold me off until a new Hitman comes out :).
Listen guys, this is aboot diplomacy, this is aboot respect!
Maybe if you enjoy being surrounded by people with no sense of decency, personal hygiene or fashion sense (socks with sandals, and tie-dye shirts should not be everyday wear). Not to mention they're too high to do anything productive other than voting against any measure that may improve the city because the noise may disturb some birds. All the while forming impromptu drum circles campaigning for free speech while simultaneously destroying any person's sense of peace and quiet with less rhythm than a toddler banging a wooden spoon on his mom's pots and pans. Call me bitter but after only two years there, I'm getting really sick of it. (of course none of this is to offend those posting on here from Eugene, especially those working -- you're already above the majority based on that fact alone -- I'm just speaking in generalities, as most rants do) GO DUCKS, but grow up Eugene.
Agreed. Although we don't really have much of a choice now do we?

That said, I'm really liking the look of the new interface, more fluid and organic. The blades always felt cramped to me, not too sure why.

I do have one complaint though, based on those screens. Do all of the games really need the xbox 360 box top to them? I would think that if I were looking at playable games, you know, ON my 360, ON xbox live, I would kind of know what system they're for?
I work at a sub sandwich shop and I experience the same sort of connections between someone's ethnicity, age, gender and what they order. My conclusions can often times look like profiling as well (nearly all asian-americans ask for the sweet onion teriyaki sauce, 90% percent of college girls order a turkey on wheat bread), but I agree that It just simply appears to be a connection to what they grew up eating, whatever that may be.
You're certainly not alone my friend, in fact I'm very surprised that there seems to be such an overwhelming negative response to the game.

Yes it became repetitive, but at least in my experience it wasn't until at least halfway through. GTA IV becomes repetitive as well, it only presents itself in a more unique way every time, which is part of what makes it a better game, but Assassin's Creed was certainly not a bad game.

The ending I thought was fascinating, and was actually the best video game ending I've ever played. It was completely unexpected (how is that inherently a bad thing?), left you wanting more (like a previous post reminded people, most movies do the same). In addition, without spoiling it for those who haven't played, I invite those who have finished the game to look-up what all of the "markings" are, what they mean, and what can be implied by them. Regardless of whether their meanings make it in the sequel or not, they're extremely interesting in and of themselves.

All in all, the game was not perfect, and was not worthy of a game of the year, but it was pretty darn good and I'm very excited for a sequel.
I CAN HAS CODE?!
I would very much like this code please.

-Sincerely, your lover (you know which one)
I was thinking the same thing. It would be an awfully sad day if those children who are forced to stay in bed cannot play because the controllers are not really wireless (as it looks like they're pretty much attached to the kiosks).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
