I will probably get downranked for writing this, but I'll take a shot anyway.

Articles like this are what perpetuates the notion that Engadget has an Apple bias. I mean, an article dedicated to the fact that people who pre-ordered an updated iPhone (and not significantly different than it's predecessor I might add) might have to wait a couple of more days? Seriously? Now, do I think that Engadget is Apple biased? No, but my only point is that Engadget certainly isn't helping it's cause by writing stuff like this.
I'm reading alot of comments about how people want GM to fail, and I can honestly say that I want them to succeed, not because they're an American company, but because if they failed completely, our economy would be worse off than it already is. If GM fails, it would affect not only however many thousands of people who are employed by GM, but also all of their suppliers, transportation companies who transport their cars all over the U.S., dealerships and their employees, etc. You're talking about all of those people now unemployed or making significantly less who won't be spending their money at places like Toysrus, Best Buy, JCPenney or where ever. It would cause a chain reaction. IMO.
Hey guys. What I'm about to ask is probably cause for burning at the stake around these parts, but wasnt there a link somewhere so you could get the Engadget RSS feed minus any iPhone news?
Thanks for the info Johan. I had no idea.
This could have some promise. I've been one of those lucky guys trying to get to Vegas from L.A. on a friday and had to sit in bumper to bumper traffic for almost 8 hours. If they can make the train ticket more affordable than simply flying Southwest Airlines at roughly $100 each way, then I'm game. I just don't understand why a high speed route like L.A. to San Francisco isn't also on the table.
@ John

This lawsuit is far from frivolous. I am currently one of the unhappy customers stuck in Time Warner Cable's service area and I have no other option. I currently rent my place, so satellite is out of the question, and fios is not in my area. I doubt very seriously that you'd be calling this lawsuit frivolous if YOU were the one dealing with TWC's crappy customer service, FREQUENT internet and phone outages, and awful digital cable.
screw the tv, i want the old spice!
Dude, exactly what I was thinking
Gotta agree with trumpton, I'm pretty interested in checking this out. My wife has a Garmin navi and loves it. They seem to have really intuitive interfaces, great route calculation, etc. Since I travel alot for my job (on the 405, 110, 91 freeways in California), if I can get a device that combines a solid GPS traffic updates, phone, and web browser all in one product, I'm all in. I don't really have an opinion either way on the whole iPhone ripoff debate, I like to judge products on their own merit. If I try it out and it sucks, I simply won't buy it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
