The Dark Wayne,

So what?! Where's the rule that only in a flight simulator should you be able to take off and land? I had two or three PS2 flying games in which I could do more than just do a high-G turn and press "X". Would it have hurt them to include a wider flight experience and, I don't know, encourage flight sim enthusiasts (like me) to pick up the game too? I only got it because a friend accidentally ordered two and sold one to me dirt cheap.

Code take off and landing, sell it for a couple of bucks, and people like you can ignore it if they want to just press X all day.
Jesus ****ing Christ sort out this comments system. I clicked on "reply" and it posted as a new comment. We have been asking for the to be fixed for two frickin' years and you guys do nothing.
So does the iPhone. But it stills sells by the million to the fashion-conscious iSheep.
Eight hours? Who takes eight hours to complete this game? Why would anyone who completes this game want to continue playing it for several more hours?

It's also unclear how the time is measured anyway. Does it mean actually playing levels or does it include time spent in menus? I presume it's the former, which is crazy for a game this short. Maybe they should give us some free DLC!
But Live is also crammed full of shovelware. The PSN store may be slow in delivery, but at least we don't get inundated with utter crap.
Because it is indicative of a systemic problem with SCEE and the PSN in the PAL region.

SCEE delivers content late or not at all and makes almost no attempt to communicate with its customers. For example, we waited four months longer than the US for the High Velocity Bowling update (online play; trophies) and when it finally came last week, did you see anything in the gaming media of from Sony?

No announcement, no email, nothing. Even the official PlayStation page for the game still says "no network play". I only found out by accident when I clicked on the game instead of Eden. Even ThreeSpeech couldn't be bothered - it was too busy telling us Nathan Drake was a pin-up hunk.

Wouldn't be so bad if PAL wasn't the strongest PS3 territory.......
Would this be the game that, in mid-December, the main gaming sites claimed had sold less than 350k WORLDWIDE?

So much for the failure many people have been claiming for this game. I believe it passes 2 million global sales this month. Not many brand new IPs do those numbers.
On a more interesting point.....

2005 KZ2 CGI quality not achieved, but SURPASSED. Yes, the Killzone 2 single player preview code gameplay videos are finally here:

Gears of War 2, suck on this.
What a dumb decision to post this video. I look forward to having to delete my save file.

You absolute ****ing morons.
WTF?! How is that hypocritical?! It is not a fanboi statement but one based in fact. RRoD's are numbered in their millions; how many genuine YLOD's have resulted in dead PS3's? I've had a YLOD which was cured by ........ allowing the console to cool for an hour (on a very hot day)!

Moron.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
