Please correct the article: while the rejection is pretty shady, Apple most certainly did not file the patent "this morning"; it was filed well over a year ago.
...actually, I just looked in my inbox, and I've been reading since June of '05. Wow...
Early 2006, back before I knew about RSS! I used Firefox's live-bookmarks back then, and missed a lot of stories. These days, I read it all...
You can also simply do this in Quicksilver, which you should have already anyway.
THIS IS NOT CHROME.

This is Chromium. The release is unofficial and unsupported.

Please fix the article before further confusion abounds.
I will not only collect this garbage from you, but if any of you live in the Seattle area I'll collect your real garbage too!
December 18th, 2008, something will be announced. You heard it here first.
Andrew:

Actually, not quite. What you're basically seeing is just the markup and css styling being parsed. This all happens at once after all markup is downloaded and before any rendering occurs.

Bandwidth has more to do with images/media loading.
Some of the more awkward lines (overuse of the word control!) made more sense in earlier trailers when the Japanese voice actor was saying them, his phrasing was different. They should have rewritten the lines to be less awkward in English rather than just reading off the sub.

I still thought it was great though. Damn, I'm going to have to buy a PS3 just to play this?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
